There are quite a few other cities from my trip I need to get through, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize the couple who made the majority of this trip possible: my aunt and uncle. They picked us up from the airport, gave us a place to stay, setup the entire 8-day tour, and paid for way more than they should have. So a big thank you to both of them for their time, love, and generosity.
My aunt and uncle live in a city in southern China called Shenzen that is actually part of China unlike Hong Kong. Distance-wise, Shenzen isn't far from Hong Kong but to get there, you have to cross customs and immigration each time you travel between the 2 cities.
Their home is absolutely beautiful, and in the center of it all, lies a lush tropical garden fit for the pages of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. The amount of time, patience, and detail they have invested into creating this lovely oasis is mind blowing. You could very easily get lost just exploring all the little corners and all the diverse plant life they have. I don't think the pictures I took will do justice to just how beautiful their garden is but wanted to share anyways. Click on the image below to go to the gallery. Enjoy!
