This year our company headed south of the border to Cancun for our annual incentive trip. Never been to Mexico so this is a first. We're staying at the Hyatt Ziva, an all-inclusive resort right on the beach, and man is this place beautiful. Compared to Sandals Resorts, this place is next level. The food, the service, the drinks, the facilities, the accommodations...everything is top notch.
Honestly, had no desire to leave the resort. There are countless restaurants scattered all over the place, multiple pools, bars, and the pristine waters of the Gulf. Plenty of activities you can partake in including, but not limited to: swimming with dolphins, water pilates/yoga, water sports, and more.
My personal favorite of course is eating at all the different restaurants. There's a little seafood restaurant out on the beach called Haberneros, awesome tacos and ceviche. Wouldn't have been mad if that was the only restaurant on the resort, it was that good. The main buffet had an excellent variety of all types of food. They even had a ramen bar the first day we got there!
We ended up doing one excursion as a group: speed boating/snorkeling. Each couple drove their own little personal speedboat down the glistening waters of the inter-coastal to an area of the MUSA (underwater museum of art) where you can snorkel down to the underwater sculptures planted throughout the area. Awesome experience!
The resort, the weather, and the scenery could not have been more beautiful. Click the video link below to check out a short highlight reel from the trip and click HERE to see some more pics from Cancun.
